U Pana Ropucha ( meaning “Mr Toad’s” in Polish) is the name of my frog fanpage on Facebook and name under which I decided to trade animals and write articles on them. My love for frogs came early, probably with my first amphibians, fire-bellied toads that my parents gave me when I was around six years old. Since then, I read thousands of papers and kept multiple species of Anurans.
Being 22 years old currently, I have around a dozen amphibian species, of which most are rarely kept in my country and some also in Europe. I am looking forward to expand my collection and to learn more with time – after all, competence is not something given, it is something developed and maintained all time.
